About This Specimen

Formula A-01 was developed as part of an investigation into high-conditioning soap formulations and the effects of avocado oil on finished bar performance.

The specimen behaved exceptionally well during production and was selected for continued observation. Acai powder was introduced as a natural colorant with the goal of producing a unique appearance. While the colorant failed to achieve the desired result, it left behind tiny speckles throughout the bar before eventually fading during cure.

The finished specimen is topped with pink salt and serves as an important reminder that successful production does not always result in a successful formula.

Fragrance Profile

This specimen is intentionally unscented.

No fragrance oils or essential oils were added, allowing the qualities of the experimental formula to take center stage.
